Riverbrooke HOA Q1 2025

The new year brings exciting progress for Riverbrooke! The HOA is launching several improvement projects, including new deck shade between the tennis courts and pool, LED restroom lighting, security camera upgrades, and sprinkler repairs with added zones. Landscaping enhancements include fresh sod, new plants, and mulch updates across the community.

Other updates include bathroom deep cleaning before summer, a filtered drinking fountain at the pool, and the upcoming launch of a redesigned community website. The HOA also celebrated Riverbrooke’s youth tennis teams for their recent championship wins.

Residents are reminded to avoid overnight street parking and to store trash bins properly after pickup.

Riverbrooke HOA Q3 2024

Summer was full of progress and community spirit! The HOA completed key upgrades including the nature trail cleanup, fountain repairs, and a successful Back-to-School party. Pickleball and volleyball areas were improved, with new landscaping and tree installations planned before fall.

Upcoming projects include updated pool and landscaping contracts, playground improvements on the Nichols side, and rubber mulch for play areas. Residents are reminded of pool etiquette, proper trash bin storage, and to avoid parking on the streets for safety.

Riverbrooke HOA Q2 2024

Spring brought plenty of progress in Riverbrooke! The HOA completed key maintenance projects including pool area upgrades, waterfall repairs, and tennis court improvements. Upcoming efforts focus on enhancing community spaces like the Nichols-side courts and nature trail. The board is also planning fun community games and continuing to review service contracts for better value.

Homeowners are reminded of pool safety, proper trash bin storage, and no overnight street parking. Stay connected on the Riverbrooke Facebook group for announcements and events.

Riverbrooke HOA Q1 2024

The new year kicked off with several major updates and improvements across Riverbrooke. The HOA began working with Beacon Management Services as the new management company starting January 1, 2024, offering enhanced support including SMS notifications.

Projects in progress include pool area upgrades, clubhouse roof replacement, entrance landscaping, and lighting enhancements with solar fence caps. Upcoming plans focus on volleyball/badminton court options, nature trail discussions, and fountain repairs (weather permitting).

Homeowners are reminded that 2024 HOA dues are due by April 10, and to keep trash bins out of street view.

Riverbrooke HOA November 2023

The Riverbrooke HOA wrapped up 2023 with a season full of updates and improvements. This edition welcomed residents to the fall season and shared progress on multiple community projects, including mulching throughout the neighborhood, entrance lighting upgrades, tennis and basketball court repairs, and fountain maintenance.

The HOA also announced Blue Brothers as the new landscaping and mulch contractor, the installation of Christmas lights (owned by the HOA for future use), and security camera planning for the Nichols Drive entrance. Work also began on website updates and the transition to a new management company starting January 2024.

Residents were reminded to stay current on dues, store trash bins properly, and contact CMA’s Ashley Stephenson for account or violation questions.

Riverbrooke HOA October 2021

Fall 2021 brought a festive close to a productive year in Riverbrooke! The HOA celebrated the completion of major upgrades, including new playground swings and equipment, parking lot resurfacing, court refurbishments, and installation of the Flock Safety system.

The Annual Meeting, held via Zoom on August 17, drew strong participation but fell short of the quorum required to hold elections or amend bylaws. The board thanked residents for attending and welcomed new volunteers to the Yard of the Month Committee — Brook Hurd, Habte Kassa, Manjit Wadhwan, Nataliya Chelnokov, and Samantha Blessing.

Residents were reminded about holiday decoration contests, trash bin storage rules, and upcoming school and holiday dates. The HOA wished everyone a joyful and safe holiday season.

Riverbrooke HOA July 2021

Summer 2021 brought a wave of improvements to Riverbrooke! The HOA completed several major projects, including the new swing set and playground equipment, pool pump system enhancement, and pool parking lot resurfacing and striping. Additional upgrades like the Flock Safety camera system and court resurfacing for tennis and basketball were planned for completion later in the summer.

The newsletter also celebrated the Riverbrooke Youth Tennis Team for earning ALTA Division Winner and City Finalist honors in their debut season. The board thanked residents for their patience during renovations and encouraged volunteers to lead the Graduation Banner and Yard of the Month committees.

Residents were reminded about trash bin storage, school schedule dates, and upcoming community events.

Riverbrooke HOA April 2021

Spring 2021 marked a season of renewal for Riverbrooke! The HOA introduced Jalaja Clough as the new Community Association Manager and announced several major improvement projects, including pool, basketball, and tennis court resurfacing, a new Flock Safety camera system, and playground additions.

The community also prepared for the pool opening on May 1, pending equipment upgrades, and launched the Yard of the Month contest. Residents were reminded about annual dues, trash bin storage, and an optional Forsyth Herald newspaper opt-out.

The newsletter closed with warm spring greetings, emphasizing connection, safety, and continued neighborhood pride.

Riverbrooke HOA January 2021

The new year began with optimism and continued safety awareness across Riverbrooke. The HOA encouraged residents to follow COVID-19 precautions and shared updates on ongoing and upcoming projects, including security camera installation (Flock Safety System), pool parking lot resurfacing, and tennis court improvements.

The newsletter recognized the Architectural Review Committee for maintaining the community’s curb appeal and celebrated the 2020 Yard of the Month winners and holiday decoration contest winners.

Residents were reminded that annual assessments of $600 were due by April 1, 2021, and that unpaid accounts would face amenity and trash service suspension. The HOA also confirmed the 2021 budget and financial report distribution to all homeowners.

Riverbrooke HOA October 2020

The board canceled the 2020 annual meeting due to COVID-19 restrictions but assured residents that updates would continue via email and management channels.

The newsletter highlighted Yard of the Month winners, encouraged participation in the Halloween and Holiday Decoration contests, and reminded residents to drive carefully with schools back in session. It also listed upcoming holiday and school dates through the end of the year.

Summer 2020 brought cautious optimism as Riverbrooke reopened the community pool under strict COVID-19 safety protocols. A new reservation system limited visits to 2 hours per day per household, with social distancing, masks, and no-guest policies in place.

Riverbrooke HOA April 2020

The April 2020 newsletter focused on community safety and updates during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. The HOA provided detailed Coronavirus guidance, temporarily closing the pool, playground, tennis, and basketball courts per county recommendations, and emphasized social distancing throughout the neighborhood.

Residents were invited to volunteer as Street Captains to help share updates, organize future events, and maintain community connections. Ongoing projects included road resurfacing, pool parking lot repairs, and swing set additions.

Other highlights included virtual school updates, the return of Yard of the Month, and reminders about annual dues and trash bin policies. The HOA encouraged residents to stay safe, stay informed, and reach out by email while in-person meetings were suspended.

The fall newsletter welcomed residents back from summer with updates on community projects, events, and volunteer opportunities. Planned upgrades included playground expansions, basketball court resurfacing, and trail maintenance, with timelines tied to the upcoming reserve budget study.

The newsletter also featured Yard of the Month winners, reminders about annual dues and trash bin storage, and invitations for residents to join committees such as the Newsletter, Welcome, or Yard of the Month teams. The Annual Meeting and Board Elections were scheduled for August 17, 2019, at Lambert High School.
